The thoracic section of Midwest Imaging Professionals specializes in evaluating malignancy, thromboembolic disease, interstitial lung disease, and other thorax diseases. This section includes cardiac imaging, including coronary CT angiography, calcium score screening, pre-ablation CT, and pre-procedure evaluation for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). With an increasing emphasis on the early detection of lung cancer, the thoracic section of MIP also helps drive the multidisciplinary low-dose CT lung cancer screening program.
