Dr. Brown immigrated to the U.S. from Cuba and was raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, followed by a Neuroradiology fellowship at Indiana University.

He developed a passion for spine interventions such as kyphoplasty or vertebral body augmentation during his Neuroradiology fellowship. This passion evolved over his 13 years in private practice into other aspects of interventional pain management, including treating complex pathological spine fractures in oncology patients. Dr. Brown remains fluent in Spanish and prides himself as a good communicator. Additionally, he has had the privilege of leading his radiology practice as its president for consecutive terms.

Interests include sports, spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs.
