Dr. Sanjay Soni has spent the beginning of his career honing in on quality in diagnostic imaging. As a fellow, he helped institute an algorithm for the triage and performance of coronary artery CTA in the emergency department and has developed proficiency in radiology of the thorax, including chest, cardiovascular, and breast imaging.

After completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit and finishing his training at Stanford University in northern California, Dr. Soni moved to Chicago. In addition to his interest in breast imaging, he has helped develop protocols in TAVR and low-dose CT lung screening examinations.

Outside of radiology, Dr. Soni dotes on his young daughter and nephews, and he spends most of his remaining free time staying active, cooking, and traveling.
