Dr. Major was born and raised in Chicago, received her medical degree from Rush medical college in Chicago and completed a fellowship in nuclear medicine also at Rush. Diagnostic radiology residency was for completed was at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston.

After residency Dr. Major was a radiologist at St. Mary’s hospital in Chicago for several years, then returned to work as a radiologist at Saint Francis hospital Where she has Remained for over 20 years. Dr. Major is an active participant in the radiology residency at St. Francis Hospital where she enjoys working with and teaching the residents.

In her free time Dr. Major enjoys Music and concerts, cooking and dining out, hanging out with friends and family, and most of all playing with her dog Louie.
