Dr. Bavelis graduated from The Ohio State University and subsequently completed medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University. Dr. Bavelis did his medical internship year at Loyola University Medical Center and then completed his radiology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP). Dr. Bavelis then moved back to Chicago and completed Body MR and Ultrasound fellowship at Rush University.

When Dr. Bavelis isn’t working, he most likes spending time with family and friends, but also enjoys cooking, travel, and following his beloved Liverpool Football Club, P.A.O.K. football club, The Ohio State University sports, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
